Seller was rude to me and lied to me about their return policy. Made a sale to me and two days after when I returned he only gave me credit in the store which was not what he told me when I originally bought the items. Do not recommend.

Went in to get my bass guitar repaired and had a great experience. The repairs were quick, a fair price, and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They were also patient and understanding when I didn't know about certain aspects or terms.

I am a local musician in State College, and use Music Mart for most of my supplies. Very friendly staff, have helped me choose the right product more than once. As one reviewer noted, not as cheap as online, but that is to be expected. You have to choose your experience, and frankly I'd rather support a local business. I am classically trained on piano and self taught acoustic guitar and vocals. When I go into the store I ask questions based on my lack of experience in what I am looking for. I don't pretend to know something I don't, nor do I act like I am a famous musician. I think there is a tendency for 'guitar heroes' to act that way, and it is not well received. You get back what you put out there, so be open and you will get great service. I think the attitude of the staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful, not condescending as can be the case with musicians-turned-clerks who think they should be world recording artists. These are good guys and want to help you.
